Job Requirements

  •  Develops the branch business plan, meeting with executive management on a regular basis to ensure that the forecast is being met.
  •  Leads the branch Loan Officer Team in meeting the business plan objectives.
  •  Ensures that all Loan Officers comply with state and federal regulations as well as the company’s corporate policies.
  •  Interviews and counsels members on residential mortgage and home equity loan options; originates residential and home equity loans.
  •  Obtains required documentation and preapproves loan. Provides initial disclosures to the borrower within the required timeframe.
  •  Works with business development and support branch offices to develop referral relationships and grows mortgages through community events/education.
  •  Builds new relationships with realtors and proactively searches for new business opportunities to increase loan volume for the credit union.
  •  Provides quality service to members.

Qualifications:

  •  5+ years of residential loan origination experience.
  •  Currently licensed as a state loan originator
  •  Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
  •  Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
  •  Knowledge of Federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
  •  Knowledge of Federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
  •  Demonstrated ability to cultivate and develop relationships with realtors, builders, attorneys and accountants.
  •  High level of interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively in a professional and
    courteous manner.
  •  Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  •  Computer proficient
  •  High school diploma or equivalent mandatory. Four-year college degree preferred
